A truly amazing find!  Generaal has it all!  This five year old gelding rides and drives and is unflappable in every situation.  Ready to show with a very solid walk, trot and canter.

 

Generaal is extremely balanced and light to the aids.  Watch his video!  He has very expressive gaits that are easy to sit and a calm, caretaker personality.  He is a perfect horse for a mother / daughter share or for the show home that really wants to stand out.

 

He drives with a steady gait in traffic and through cross country terrain.  Generaal goes through water without breaking stride, and over rough terrain.

Update:

Just three months later, competed in May 2007 in his first Combined Driving Event (CDE) in Ramona, California at a Training Level in which he won the class.

One month later, in June 2007, Generaal competed in an Arena Driving Trial (ADT) in Santa Ynez, California at a Preliminary level in which he won the class.

In August 2007, competed in his first Preliminary Combined Driving Event (CDE) in Woodside, California where he finished in 5th place.

This horse is great under-saddle and is developing wonderfully as a driving horse, especially for his limited experience and time here.
